Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Golf Time mobile application ("the App"), provided by Golf Time Technologies ("Company," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Service Description

Golf Time is a social utility platform designed to connect golfers ("Users") for the purpose of arranging matches and discovering golf courses.

• Not a Booking Agent: We provide directories and links to third-party golf courses. We do not own, operate, or control these courses.

• External Transactions: Any tee time reservations or payments are made directly between you and the golf course. We are not a party to these transactions and are not liable for errors, cancellations, or refunds.

3. User Accounts & Eligibility

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App.

• Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.

• Account Deletion: You may permanently delete your account and data at any time via the "Settings" menu in the App.

4. User Conduct & Content (UGC Policy)

Golf Time allows users to post games, chat, and upload profiles ("User Content"). To maintain a safe community, you agree to the following:

• Zero Tolerance for Abuse: Harassment, hate speech, bullying, nudity, violence, or illegal content is strictly prohibited.

• Reporting: Users allow us to moderate content. You acknowledge that we provide tools to Block and Report abusive users.

• Consequences: We reserve the right to remove any content and immediately suspend or ban any user found violating these standards, without prior notice or refund.

• Sandbagging: You agree to represent your skill level accurately to facilitate fair matchmaking.

5. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose.

• Attempt to "scrape," data-mine, or reverse-engineer the App.

• Create fake accounts or impersonate others.

• Spam other users with commercial offers via the Chat or Invite features.

6. Intellectual Property

All App design, text, graphics, and software are the exclusive property of Golf Time Technologies. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "As Is."

• Physical Safety: Golf is a physical activity. We are not liable for any physical injury, property damage, or theft that occurs at a golf course or while carpooling with other users.

• Disputes: We are not responsible for disputes between players (e.g., no-shows, betting disagreements, personality conflicts). You meet other users at your own risk.

• Technical Uptime: We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via App notification. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
